Paris-based Scalpel Films headed by Pierre Menahem has been appointed sales agent on Gunnar B. Gudmundsson's adventure comedy film Dorks & Damsels. The €1.2m film produced by the Icelandic Film Company with Solar Films (Finland) and F&ME (UK) was supported by the Icelandic Film Centre and Iceland's Ministry of Industry. Sam Film will release it domestically on August 22.
