  • Evaluate the financial solidity of applications.
  • Motivate in writing recommendations for top-financing and articulate them in decision meetings with the CEO.
  • Follow up on projects that have received support, including support agreements, payment instalments, and approval of rough cuts.
  • Engage in events, initiatives and other activities organised by NFTVF.
  • Maintain a close contact and continuous dialogue with the Nordic documentary community, and represent NFTVF at selected industry events.
  • Stay informed about developments in the Nordic and international documentary industry.

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant education, at minimum a Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent relevant experience may compensate for educational requirements.
  • Documented experience from, and understanding of, the documentary film industry.
  • Knowledge of the main financing and distribution models for documentary films with international potential.
  • Documented experience of analysing and evaluating documentary works in progress.
  • Strong English communications skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience in creative work in the audiovisual industry, and dramaturgical expertise.
  • Familiarity with public funding and the financing/commissioning of documentaries.

Nordisk Film & TV Fond offers:

  • A motivated team with a collaborative spirit in a flexible work environment.
  • Flexible working hours due to the part time position.
  • Office situated in central Oslo, but a possibility to work from another Nordic country.
  • Salary based on experience and agreement.
  • Insurance schemes including private health insurance.
