Although UIP's Mission Impossible 4 opened for a top position in Scandinavia last weekend, Walt Disney's Hamilton-In the Interest of the Nation was still at number two in its third week at Sweden's Top Ten, followed tightly by Nordisk Film's Simon and the Oaks, showing fantastic legs in its eighth week. Nordisk Film had also three Finnish films in Finland's Top Ten last weekend.
In Denmark, the Sundance winner Teddy Bear opened at number eight for FC/SF, selling over 5,000 tickets from 27 screens. The buddy film The Reunion (Nordisk Film) was number 10, with total admissions amounting to 512,319 in 15 weeks. Henrik Ruben Genz's noir comedy Excuse-Me (Nordisk Film) dropped from number five to 11 in its fourth week. Total admissions so far are 76,710.

In Finland, Taru Mäkelä's comedy The Storage is steadily adding numbers. Total admissions after five weeks are 138,937 for the Kinosto production released by Nordisk Film. The youth film Love and Other Troubles opened at number four for Nordisk, and Vares-the Path of the Righteous Men was number six. Total admissions for the fourth Vares crime film have reached 86,121 for Nordisk Film. The documentary film Canned Dreams by Katja Gauriloff opened at number 12 for FS Film.

Future Film Distribution is enjoying the great performance of Aki Kaurismäki's Le Havre holding on to its 19th place after 21 weeks on national screens. The Jussi winner has now seduced over 121,000 Finns. The distributor didn't have the same success with Petri Kotwica's thriller Rat King that dropped from number 6 to 17 in its second weekend.

In Iceland, Baltasar Kormákur's Hollywood film Contraband kept its top position for the second consecutive weekend. Total admissions are nearing 18,000 for Myndform.

In Norway, Varg-Veum the Dead Have it Easy was the only local title in the Top Ten last weekend, taking the fifth place in its second weekend for SF. Erik Richter Strand's version of Gunnar Staalesen's private eye has clocked in over 40,000 tickets. Meanwhile the Swedish arthouse film Play opened at number 16 for Arthaus, carried by excellent reviews.

In Sweden, the screen adaptation of Jan Guillou's crime book Hamilton-In the Interest of the Nation sold another 90,540 tickets from 137 screens, pushing total admissions up to 361,966 in its third week. Boosted by its record Guldbagge nominations and two wins, Lisa Ohlin's Simon and the Oaks dropping only by 3% from the previous weekend. Total admissions in eight weeks have reached 263,292.

Svensk Filmindustri's The Stig Helmer Story is also continuing to perform strongly in its sixth week. Total admissions have passed 400,000 for Lasse Åberg's comedy after eight weeks on release. Just above Stig Helmer is Tomas Alfredson's Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy which is nearing 150,000 admissions for Svensk Filmindustri. At number nine is Hollywood's version of the Swedish hit The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (350,510 admissions, Walt Disney).
