The Swedish series adapted from Kristina Ohlsson’s Bergman & Recht crime novels is a CMore/TV4 Original, co-produced by Germany’s ZDF and Belgium’s Lunanime. 

The series follows criminologist Fredrika Bergman who after a tragic car accident, starts working as a civil investigator at Stockholm Police. She's recruited to their special investigation's unit and is anything but welcomed by the department. However, her different background and exceptional talent gives her a unique perspective that repeatedly helps the unit solve their cases. Jonas Karlsson (Beck, the Snowman) plays chief inspector Alex Recht, and Alexej Manvelov (Before We Die) is Peder Rydh.

The series is co-written by Jörgen Hjerdt (Blue Eyes) and Pauline Wolff, with Karin Fahlén as concept director and Lisa Ohlin as episodic director. Sthlm Requiem is produced by Piodor Gustafsson, Martina Stöhr and Petra Jönsson of Black Spark Film & TV/Kärnfilm, in co-production with C More/TV4, Chimney Pot, Film Region Stockholm-Mälardalen/Film Capital Stockholm, Nice Drama, ZDF, Lunanime, in collaboration with Co_Made Sthlm.

The series currently filming, will premiere on the Swedish streaming service C More in 2019.
