The Swedish family series produced by Nordisk Film will premiere on C More December 6 and on TV4 December 21, 2019.

Sweden’s star actress Helena Bergström (Spring Tide, A Wedding, Funeral and a Christening) and stand-up comedian Jonas Glans have joined lead actor Robert Gustafsson in the six-part series Ture Sventon and the Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle, based on Åke Holmberg’s book about iconic private eye Ture Sventon.

Glans plays Ture Sventon's arch-nemesis Ville Vessla, while Helena Bergström is the delightful secretary Miss Jansson who, unlike Ture, is a techno-geek. Other cast additions include Suzanne Reuter, Michael Segerström, Maja Kin, Björn Gustafsson and Nanna Blondell.

In the series co-directed by Per Simonsson and Stefan Roos, an old steamboat is found frozen in the North pole waters, which according to the myth disappeared in the so-called Bermuda Triangle. Soon afterwards the infamous criminal Ville Vessla (Johan Glans) disappears without trace from his prison cell. In Lingonboda, far from these mysterious events, the two 10-year-old girls Siv (Melina Lindskog Pascalidou) and Gittan (Cornelia Riddez) have just gotten to know each other. Siv lives next door with a strange tenant, a certain detective, with a flying carpet named Ture Sventon (Robert Gustafsson). When two intelligence agents tell Ture about Vessla's disappearance, the odd trio embarks on an adventure.

Ture Sventon and the Bermuda Triangle's Secret is produced by Nordisk Film TV Production for C More/TV4, with support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond and the Norrköping Film Fund. Executive producers at C More/TV4 are Lisa Dahlberg and Ulf Synnerholm.
