NRK’s futuristic thriller won Best TV Drama and Best Actor (Pål Sverrir Hagen) at the Norwegian television awards held last Friday in Bergen.
The series co-created by Thomas Seeberg Torjussen and Erik Richter Strand has been a major success for Tordenfilm that produced it with support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
A returning season is in development and APC has licensed season one to territories including the UK, US (Walter Presents) and Australia (SBS).
UK remake rights were recently picked up by UK producer and former Channel Four Head of Drama Liza Marshall of Hera Pictures. Mark Strong is set to reprise the role of Ravn, the surgeon running the illegal underground hospital, played in the Norwegian version by Sven Nordin.
