Nordisk Film & TV Fond and Göteborg Film Festival have announced the five drama series nominated for the Nordic Series Script Award, which continues the legacy of its predecessor, the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize.
The Nordic Series Script Award recognises exceptional screenwriting in Nordic drama. This prestigious award, worth NOK 200,000, is presented annually at the Göteborg Film Festival’s TV Drama Vision. Financed by Nordisk Film & TV Fond, it is awarded to the main writer(s) of a Nordic drama series that premiered in 2025.
The 2026 Nordic Series Script Award nominees are:

The jury for the Nordic Series Script Award consists of Agnes Kittelsen, Actor, Norway; Nanna Frank Rasmussen, Journalist, Film and TV Reviewer, Denmark; Henning Kamm, Executive Producer and Managing Director, REAL FILM Berlin, Germany.

Additionally, the Nordic Series Awards includes the Creative Courage Award, which celebrates the producer and commissioner of a series that boldly pushes creative boundaries and embraces innovation. The Creative Courage recipient is selected from admissions by the Nordic broadcasters/streamers.
The winners of the awards will be announced at an award ceremony on the evening of January 27.
