Bent Hamer's new film Home for Christmas (Hjem til jul) will open the Bergen International Film Festival (BIFF) on October 20, after its world premiere at Toronto's Contemporary World Cinema sidebar. The Norwegian director's latest dark comedy features different troubled families around Christmas time. The BulBul Film supported by Nordisk Film & TV Fond will be released domestically by Sandrew Metronome on November 12.
