The Danish film Stranger has its world premiere at Göteborg Film Festival on February 1 and opens in Danish cinemas on March 6.

Set in 4000 BCE, Stranger follows 19-year-old Aathi, one of the first farmers to settle in southern Scandinavia. When her family is brutally murdered by a local hunter-gatherer tribe, she and her brother must adapt to life among their parents’ killers.
