In a world overtaken by despair and decay, an elderly man struggles to cling to daily routines and care for his ailing wife, despite her slow transformation into something unrecognisable and dangerous. As life falls apart around him, he fights to hold on to the little hope he has left – and not be left alone in the inevitable downfall.
