Denmark’s biggest annual TV awards ceremony organised by the Danish Producers Association will he held online January 28, 2021.
DR Drama’s When the Dust Settles co-created by Dorte Høgh and Ida Maria Rydén, is running against six other shows for Best TV Drama-Long Format:
The multi-plot drama When the Dust Settles was nominated for last year’s Nordisk Film & TV Fond prize-Best Nordic Screenplay.
The documentary series Scandinavian Star directed by Mikala Krogh for Danish Documentary premiered on DR1 in March. The true crime drama about the unsolved tragedy aboard the Scandinavian Star ferry in 1990, picked up Best Documentary programme and Best Editing at Norway’s annual Gullruten awards 2020.
The series is competing for Best Factual series at TV Prisen against eight programmes including DR1’ Grænseland about the history of the border between Denmark and Germany, narrated by Lars Mikkelsen.
In the Audience category, Scandinavian Star is competing against 19 programmes including Viaplay’s series Face to Face and TV2’s Badehotellet 7.

The programmes competing in the TVPrisen’s 25 categories premiered in Denmark between November 1, 2019 and the end of October 2019.
