The Swedish commercial broadcaster TV4 has had a successful end of 2012 and start of 2013 with four of its new Swedish series that have flirted with the million viewers or more and passed an audience share of 30% when first aired: the crime shows Inkognito (Tre V

Broadcast on Monday December 17 on TV4 at 21.00, the first of 3x45' episodes of The Sandhamm Murders based on Viveca Sten's crime novel Closed Circles (I den innersta kretsen) was watched by 1,545,000 Swedes. Within its 12-59 target group, the show had a rating of 14% and a healthy viewing share of 39.1%. The crime show set in Stockholm has a strong ensemble cast including Danish star actor Jakob Cedergren, Alexandra Rapaport, Jonas Malmsjö, Sofia Pekkari and Harriet Andersson. Anders Landström produced it for Finlance International.

TV4's 3x44'crime comedy Inkognito produced by Johan Hedman for Tre Vänner premiered on Monday January 7, 2013. The first episode caught the attention of nearly 1.3 million viewers for a rating of 13.5% and a share of 37.3%. The second and third episodes sustained the attention of over 1.1 million viewers.

Within its other main flagship genre, comedy, Sweden's largest commercial TV continued to score within its target group. Allt faller written by and starring Sweden's top comedians Jonas Gardell, Henrik Schyffert and Johan Rheborg among others, was shown on Thursday January 10 at 21.00 and attracted 955,000 viewers for a rating of 11% and share of 30%. The second part of the satire show aired at 21.30 was followed by 730,000 Swedes and had a rating of 8.7% and a share of 26.1%.

Finally the10x22' The Holstein-Gottorp Family series which follows the trials and tribulations of a fictional royal family had 1,185,000 viewers for its premiere last Sunday at 20.00, with a rating of 11.9% and share of 30.3% within its main target group. The second episode sent directly afterwards was watched by 1,125,000 Swedes for a 12.1% rating and 28.9% share of viewers. The comedy shows stars Johan Elveson as the naive King Erik XV and Sissela Kyle as his wife Queen Ulrika.
