The Swedish biopic about Astrid Lindgren is currently in production while the Danish thriller The Guilty is in post-production.


Becoming Astrid directed Pernille Fischer Christensen has a stellar cast including Alba August, Trine Dyrholm, Magnus Krepper and Maria Bonnevie. The film about legendary author Astrid Lindgren’s early and most formative years is produced by Anna Anthony for Avanti Film and Lars G. Lindström for Nordisk Film Production Sweden, with support among others from Nordisk Film & TV Fond.

The Guilty is the directorial debut of Gustav Möller who won a Nordic Talents Special Mention in 2015 with his producer/partner Lina Flint. Jakob Cedergren plays a police officer turned alarm-central dispatcher, haunted by guilt from his past. He tries to redeem himself by saving - over the phone - a kidnapped woman. The film was produced by Nordisk Film Production’s low budget ‘Spring’ scheme with support from the Danish Film Institute’s New Danish Screen.
