The youth drama A Part of You set to start filming in Stockholm next week, also stars Young Royals’ Edvin Ryding and Felicia Maxime.

The feature based on a script by YA expert Michaela Hamilton (Eagles, A Class Apart) is the directorial debut of novelist/producer/podcaster Sigge Eklund.

Pop sensation Larsson who boasts more than 9 million followers on Instagram, is cast as Julia, the in-girl at school, girlfriend to Noel (Edvin Ryding). Her younger sister Agnes (Felicia Maxime) envies her and would give everything to be like her elder sibling. When the worst possible thing occurs, Agnes' world is turned upside down and she’s forced to reinvent herself. Suddenly, she's on the verge of obtaining everything she's ever desired, but at what cost?

Completing the cast are Ida Engvoll (Love & Anarchy), Mustafa Al-Mashhadani (Thin Blue Line), Alva Bratt (Barracuda Queens), Emil Hedayat, Olivia Essén, Nikki Hanselblad and Maxwell Cunningham.

Stefan H. Lindén, showrunner of SVT’s hit series Eagles and Alexandra Thönnersten who served as producer on Eagles, are both producing for SF Studios. The Scandinavian group’s EVP Production Tim King is executive producer.

A Part of You is the latest feature produced by SF Studios for Netflix, tied in a content partnership deal since 2021.

Other Nordic features created by SF Studios for the US streamer include the Swedish chiller Red Dot, Danish psycho thriller Loving Adults, Bille August’s upcoming Ehrengard based on Karen Blixen’s eponymous novel, starring Sidse Babette Knudsen Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, and the Swedish comedy slasher The Conference by Patrik Eklund.
