Lars von Trier's Antichrist, produced by Zentropa with support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond, triumphed at last Sunday evening's annual Robert film awards ceremony in Copenhagen, winning a record seven statuettes including Best Film, Script and Director.

This is the first time von Trier wins that many Robert awards for a single title. He previously grabbed Best Film awards from the Danish Film Academy for Element of Crime in 1984, Europa in 1991 and Breaking the Waves in 1997. Antichrist already scooped a Best Actress award for Charlotte Gainsbourg in Cannes and the Nordic Council Film Prize 2009.

Niels Malmros' Aching Hearts, which had the most nominations (18), ended up winning three technical awards for Make-up, Production Design and Costumes.

Lars Mikkelsen and Henning Moritzen won Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor respectively for Rumle Hammerich's Headhunter, and Paprika Steen - added a Robert for Best Actress to the various awards already received for her part in Martin Zandvlet's Applause.

Birger Larsen's Super Brother - selected for the Berlinale Generation sidebar-grabbed Best Children and Youth Film, Ole Bornedal's Deliver us from Evil won Best Supporting Actress (Pernille Vallentin), Omar Shargawi's My Father from Haifa Best Feature Length Documentary, and the 2009 biggest Danish hit What Goes Around won the Audience award.

Nordisk Film & TV Fond supported films that received 16 Robert awards.
