Salim has an impressive acting credit list including the Danish film Darkland, series Borgen, Warrior, Deliver Us, Germany’s biggest tv franchise Tatort, and international hits Game of Thrones and Exodus: Gods and Kings.

Most recently he appeared in the Netflix original Danish film Loving Adults; he will next be on the silver screens in Darkland II and in Guy Ritchie’s The Interpreter.

Salim said about his deal with Scanbox Entertainment:
“When Kim William Beich [Scanbox COO] suggested a collaboration, he put to words exactly what I was searching for. It is a natural next step for me to choose ideas and make my mark on the stories I want to be part of, and Scanbox is the perfect partner. We had a great partnership when releasing Darkland, and it is a company with big ambitions and muscles that matches some of the strongest forces of Nordic cinema and filmed entertainment. Scanbox has a structure where we all have access to each other and can join forces in working towards a common goal in the pursuit of creating entertainment with a strong commercial identity.”

Beich says the new collaboration with Salim is an important part of the group’s strategy towards “securing the best partners and becoming a significant supplier of films and series to the local and international markets.”

Scanbox recently appointed senior Nordic executive Lone Korslund as Creative Director to ramp up the pan-Nordic distribution group’s film and TV drama production activities. See our separate story CLICK HERE.
