The leading US distributor is among a dozen new territories that have acquired the Norwegian disaster film directed by Pål Øie.
Besides Samuel Goldwyn, new territories that have acquired the film from TrustNordisk include the UK & Ireland (Signature Entertainment), Canada (Mongrel Media), Australia & New Zealand (Rialto Distribution), Spain (Youplanet), Portugal (Films4You), Czech Republic & Slovakia (Foxx Media Group), Estonia (Estin Film), India (Big Tree Entertainment) and Turkey (Esen Elektronik).
Earlier deals were sealed with German-speaking Europe (SquareOne), France (Mediawan), Benelux (September Films), Italy (Koch Media), Albania, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia & Montenegro, Bosnia–Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia (Cinemania Group), Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia (Capella Film), Poland (Telewizja Puls), Bulgaria (bTV), Mexico and Latin America (California Filmes), Japan (IPA), Taiwan (CatchPlay), Singapore/Indonesia (Passion Entertainment), Korea (Activers Entertainment), China (DD Dream), Hong Kong (Sundream) and Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines (CM Holdings).
The claustrophobic disaster film produced by Nordisk Film Production sold more than 221,000 tickets in Norway and collected an Amanda award - Best Supporting Actress for Ingvild Holthe Bygdnes’ performance.
