The world famous characters of Erica Falk and inspector Patrick Hedström created by Swedish best-selling novelist Camilla Läckberg will be played by upcoming Swedish talents Claudia Galli and Richard Ulfsäter in the film and TV series The Fjällbacka Murders, produced by Tre Vänner.

The Swedish actress and TV host Galli was cast in the TV series Svensson Svensson and most recently in the comedy series Starke man. A fully-trained theatre, television and film actor, Ulfsäter played in Darling, Trust Me, Patrick 1.5, Four More Years. His next screen appearances will be in Peter Flinth's Nobel's Last Will and Peter Dalle's An Enemy to Die For. Marcus Olsson will direct the first two films of the 10x90' series based on original material drawn from Läckberg's world and characters. There will also be two feature films, the first one being a screen adaptation of The German Child.

"Much of the success of my novels lay in the fact that my readers have been hooked up with the characters of Erica and Patrick, and I really feel that Claudia and Richard are Patrick and Erica. It's a dream cast," said the best-selling novelist.
