Ten Nordic projects will be pitched by upcoming talents at NFTVF's popular industry September 11th. Apply now!

Nordisk Film & TV Fond’s annual industry event and pitch competition Nordic Talents has been accepting applications from graduating Nordic film students (BA or MA level) since early April. Now the deadline is getting closer.

Upcoming filmmakers from all Nordic countries have a chance to present their first professional projects to the Nordic industry and the event's international jury. The Pitch Prize (NOK 250,000) and the Special Mention Prize (NOK 50,000) will be awarded to two projects during the event.

To apply: CLICK HERE.
Deadline: 03.06.2025, 13:00 CEST.

Please prepare this in English before applying:

  • Information on the pitchers (max two per project)
  • Link to the graduation film with English subtitles
  • Short info on the key crew of the project
  • Motivation for making it
  • Project info and visual style
  • Short pitch, tagline and synopsis
  • Development plan and time schedule
  • Marketing plan and audience engagement strategy
  • Estimated budget amount

Feature length films and series projects are eligible (fiction, documentary, animation, hybrid).

Ten projects will be selected to pitch at the National Film School of Denmark during Nordic Talents 2025. Nordisk Film & TV Fond covers travels and accommodation for the pitchers. Before going on stage the pitchers will attend a pitch training two days prior to the event.

In 2025 all pitches will take place during a one day event that takes place September 11th. Before the pitch day all Nordic Talents delegates will have a possibility to watch the graduation films connected to the proposals online in advance or on screen in Copenhagen the day before, September 10th.

Registration to attend will open in June.
