Half of the films that received support for distribution to other Nordic countries in Q1 are aimed at children and youth, as well as two of the eleven top financed productions.
Nordisk Film & TV Fond (NFTVF) granted NOK 7,800,000 to the production of three films, NOK 3,300,000 to two drama series, and NOK 2,400,000 to four documentaries in Q1. In addition, NFTVF granted NOK 2,090,000 for distribution of fourteen Nordic films, NOK 550,000 for dubbing of five films, and NOK 1,790,000 for seven industry initiatives.
43% of the supported projects this quarter have a special focus on C&Y.
