Founded in 2017 by seasoned producers Omberg (Dead Snow, Hellfjord) and Rosenberg (Magic Silver, The Bothersome Man), 74 Entertainment’s latest film was the comedy Opportunity Knocks (Norske byggeklosser) by Arild Fröhlich, third biggest local grosser in 2018. A Finnish remake is currently in post-production.

Omberg said: “We are happy and proud of entering into a long-term collaboration with Nordisk Film. It will strengthen the development of new projects and give us the best possible launch and distribution of our future feature films and series both in the Nordic and international markets.”

Nordisk Film’s director of Nordic Acquisitions Rasmus Krogh added: “In Nordisk Film we are more than ever focused on Scandinavian films and on finding the best partners across the Nordics. 74 Entertainment has a solid commercial track record, and we are excited by this new collaboration. We look forward to bringing their many future films and series to the market.”

The Scandi giant Nordisk Film acquires and co-produces around 35 Nordic films a year including its own productions. Recent output deals were signed with Brain Academy, B-Reel Films and Sweetwater Productions.
