Helena Danielsson and Deborah Bayer Marlow join the Nordic powerhouse.
Nordisk Film Production is strengthening its team with the addition of two experienced producers, Swedish Helena Danielsson and Copenhagen based Deborah Bayer Marlow. This strategic move aligns with Nordisk Film Production's goal to create major Danish films with international appeal.
With these new hires, Nordisk Film Production now boasts a team of 21 producers across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
Helena Danielsson brings a wealth of experience, having produced, co-produced, and executive produced over 35 films and TV series, with a strong focus on Nordic content. Her impressive career includes roles at Hepp Film, Brain Academy, and Viaplay Studios, where she developed English-language feature films for the global market. Danielsson's work has been recognised at prestigious festivals worldwide, earning nominations and awards such as the European Film Academy Award and the International Emmy. She will officially join Nordisk Film Production on January 2, 2025.
Deborah Bayer Marlow is a familiar face at Nordisk Film Production, having recently worked on the award-winning TV series Bullshit and The Girl with the Needle (Pigen med nålen). Marlow founded Marlowfilm Productions in 2001, Denmark's first dedicated international production service company. Her extensive experience in international and Nordic projects, coupled with her expertise in development, budgeting, and production makes her a valuable addition to the team. Marlow will start her new role on February 1, 2025.
