Nordisk Film & TV Fond invites Nordic graduating students to pitch their first professional project at NFTVF's popular industry event Nordic Talents. Apply now!

Nordisk Film & TV Fond’s annual industry event and pitch competition at the National Film School of Denmark has opened for Nordic Talents applicants in NFTVF’s application portal.

Nordic film and TV students graduating between August 2025 and June 2026 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree are eligible to apply, provided that the student graduates with a film or another audiovisual production. Nordic students from all Nordic and international universities or colleges with film/TV/animation-related bachelor's or master's programmes can apply.

Upcoming filmmakers from the Nordics have a chance to present their first professional projects to the Nordic industry and the event's international jury. The Pitch Prize (NOK 250,000) and the Special Mention Prize (NOK 50,000) will be awarded to two projects during the event.

To register and apply: CLICK HERE.

Deadline: 01.06.2026, 10:00 CEST.

Applicants may apply alone with a project, or in teams of max two, if both have graduated during the eligible period and are involved in the project.

The applicants should deliver:

  • Information on the pitchers
  • Link to the graduation production with English subtitles
  • Short info on the key crew of the pitch project
  • Motivation behind the pitch project
  • Definition of the genre, target group, and visual style
  • Short pitch/description and synopsis
  • Development plan and time schedule
  • Estimated budget amount

Feature length films and series projects are eligible (fiction, documentary, animation, hybrid).

Ten projects will be selected to pitch at the National Film School of Denmark during Nordic Talents 2026. Nordisk Film & TV Fond covers travels and accommodation for the pitchers. Before going on stage, the pitchers will attend a pitch training two days prior to the event.

NFTVF will continue the success from last year: the pitches will take place during a one-day event that in 2026 takes place on September 10. On September 9, the day before the pitch day, all Nordic Talents delegates will have the opportunity to watch the pitchers’ graduation projects on screen. Online screening will also be possible for registered deligates on the days before Nordic Talents.
