Sarita Koskelin and Kari Paljakka are replacing Hannu Tuomainen and Marjo Valve who will finish their five-year term at the end of 2017.
Koskelin and Paljakka will handle feature film production support from January 1st 2018 onwards. In addition, Koskelin will supervise TV drama series (episode length 22 minutes and over) and Paljakka minority co-productions.
Sarita Koskelin (previously Sarita Harma) is currently working at MTV Media Company as exec producer, in charge of TV Drama. She sat on the Finnish Film Foundation’s governing board between 2007-2011.
Kari Paljakka is a seasoned producer, director and scriptwriter. He worked as producer for Filmitakomo and for the Finnish promotional body AVEK as Production Consultant between 1998-2001.
