The US giant Netflix has just signed exclusive worldwide streaming rights on the English language crime drama  co-created by Hans Rosenfeldt (pictured - The Bridge/Bron) and Nicola Larder (The Tunnel).

The deal was closed by Cineflix Rights that holds international distribution rights to the 8x60’ series. Produced by Buccaneer Media for ITV, delves into the psychology of a troubled detective (Anna Friel) who investigated a serial murder case. Rosenfeldt’s collaborator on , Swedish director Henrik Georgsson shares the directing duties on with the British Charles Martin (), and Australian Jonathan Teplitzky (). The series premiered last night on ITV in the UK and will be available on Netflix outside of the UK and Ireland starting July 1st. 

Meanwhile Rosenfeldt told the Norwegian press agency NTB that a fourth season of the Swedish/Danish crime show is in the works, with Sofia Helin back in the title role.
