Filming is set to start in the second half of 2017.
In McMullen’s original adaptation of Shakespeare’s iconic work, the director brings to the surface the violence and destructive instincts that haunt the human psyche. It is envisaged as an ‘intense motion picture with a haunting and atmospheric visual aesthetic’.
TrustNordisk just added the film to its extensive Cannes line up including the market screenings You Disappear, Darkland, I Remember You and The Divine Order, and Lars von Trier’s The House that Jack Built among its hottest pre-sales titles.
