The Danish dramedy Lærkevej produced by Cosmo Film for TV2 Danmark, has been sold to TV2 Norge who will broadcast the first episode on December 2 at 21.40.

"I'm pleased that Lærkevej has already been sold abroad and that TV2 Norge will show so quickly the first episode of our newly created series," said TV2 Danmark's head of programmes Keld Reinicke. The new ‘Dramedy' genre is very popular in Norway -just like in Denmark, where the US made Desperate Housewives is one of the most popular series on television. In Denmark, TV2 has aired seven of ten episodes of Lærkevej that have been followed by an average 900,000 viewers. Another 12 episodes are being developed by production company Cosmo Film. The series was supported by the Danish Film Institute's ‘Public Service Puljen' and Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
