Nordic Talents winner Gustav Möller makes his directorial feature with the Danish film The Guilty that just wrapped for Nordisk Film Spring.

The project introduced by Möller and producer Lina Flint at Copenhagen’s Nordic Talents 2015, won the event’s Special Mention award. Cedergren plays a police officer turned alarm-central dispatcher who is haunted by guilt from his past. He tries to redeem himself by saving - over the phone - a kidnapped woman.

The film produced by Nordisk Film Production’s low budget ‘Spring’ scheme was shot in real time, in one night, one location, with one main character. “My ambition is to make a strong genre film, but instead of chases and explosions, I will focus exclusively on the main character’s psychology, film dialogue and challenge the audience’s imagination”, said the up-and-coming director to dfi.dk.

The film was supported by the Danish Film Institute’s New Danish Screen.

The Guilty will be released in Danish cinemas in the autumn 2017.
