The five-part series The Dark Heart (Mörkt hjärta) co-created by Gustav Möller (The Guilty) and Oskar Söderlund (Snabba Cash) was among 13 international TV shows competing at Lille’s TV drama festival which closed on Friday.

The top award comes on the heels of the series' successful launch at Sundance’s Indie Episodic strand and positive critical and audience response when it launched on discovery+ and Kanal 5 Sweden February 9.

The Swedish show based on Joakim Palmkvist’s best-selling true-crime thriller was produced by Anna Carlsten and Caroline Landerberg for FLX (Quicksand, Love & Anarchy).
