    Logline: Kempff’s second fiction feature after the 2021 Sundance selected Knocking, is a female-empowering story. In 1939, as WW2 is about to break out, the Swede Sally Bauer decides to defy her family and social norms to swim across the English Channel. Filming starts this summer, between Sweden, Estonia, Belgium and the UK.

    Logline: When the 19-year-old girl Aathi and her family, as the first farmers ever, arrive in what is now known as Denmark, her family is killed by a local tribe of hunter-gatherers. Alone in the vast and eerie forest, Aathi and her brother are forced to live with the tribe that killed their family and learn their traditions in order to survive. But gradually, the demands of what Aathi must submit to, become more and more ruthless. In the end, it is clear that there can be no peaceful solution to the first and biggest culture clash not only in Danish but in European history. Aathi must decide if she will take her revenge.

    Filming is due to start this summer, with a delivery set for 2024.

    Logline: Some heroes wear a cape, some also got diapers… Super-Charlie is an animated superhero comedy about a slightly different baby.

    The 3D-animated action comedy is based on Camilla Läckberg’s popular children book series ‘Super-Charlie’ available in more than 60 countries.

    The major new Nordisk Film Production Sweden kids movie is being co-produced by A.Film, SVT, Film i Skåne, Nordisk Film Distribution, Slugger Film, with support from the Swedish Film Institute. The release date is set for Christmas 2024.

    Logline: Psychological thriller by Simo Halinen from his own best-selling novel ‘Nainen joka katosi’ (‘The Woman Who Disappeared’).

    The story turns on Aaro who falls for the enigmatic Maura on a summer night in Helsinki. They develop a passionate relationship, until Maura suddenly vanishes. Aaro starts to doubt the woman of his dreams really existed. As a lawyer for an insurance company, he manages to track her down and finds out about a past crime that had left permanent marks on Maura.

    The series has received co-financing from Business Finland and West Finland Film Commission. The premiere is set for early 2025.
