Agatha Christie's Hjerson, the first-ever TV adaptation based on a spin-off character from Agatha Christie's literary universe, was produced by Patrik Andersson and Ulf Synnerholm at BR•F for TV4/C More, in co-production with ZDF, Nadcon and the Government of Åland, in close collaboration with ZDF Studios and Agatha Christie Ltd and support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond.

"The huge success of this drama can be attributed to the enduring worldwide popularity of Agatha Christie, one of the best-selling authors of all time. Fans can never get enough. And hats off to the team behind Agatha Christie's Hjerson, who have created a superb series by giving this classic tale a fresh and modern take,” said Mirela Nastase, director of drama at ZDF Studios.

The series which won the MipDrama Coup de Coeur in 2021, was co-directed by Lisa James Larsson and Lisa Farzaneh, from a script by Patrik Gyllström, Björn Paqualin, Jakob Beckman, Martin Luuk and Aron Levander.

In the title roles are Johan Rheborg as Sven Hjerson and Hanna Alström as Klara Sandberg.
