The four appointees are:

-DR Nyheder (news production for radio and television) is headed by Ulrik Haagerup who was the acting director for the news department,

-DR Oplysning (‘Facts and Information', encompassing documentaries, science, news and debates, education) is headed by Gitte Rabøl,

-DR Danmark (encompassing DR's regional offices, program production in Århus as well as children and youth programs and lifestyle) is headed by Inger Bach.

"I have the directors I really wanted to have," commented DR's general director Kenneth Plummer. The re-structuring of DR's program production department was announced last November as part of the group's new strategy to strengthen in-house productions, speed up decision-making and improve internal relations.
