Danish director Per Fly (pictured) is expected to work as concept director on DR’s new prime time series Follow the Money set to start filming in April. Fly recently won a Guldbagge Best Director award in Sweden for Waltz for Monica.
According to dr.dk, Fly will direct the two first of 20 episodes split into two seasons of 10 episodes. Jeppe Gjervig Gram (co-writer of Borgen with Adam Price and Tobias Lindholm) is head-writer and episode writers are Anders August and Jannik Tai Mosholt.
The series deals with financial crime, greed and morality. In one of four starring roles is Thomas Bo Larsen who played Mads Mikkelsen’s friend Theo in the Oscar nominated The Hunt. Season 1 of Follow the Money is scheduled to air on DR1 in September 2015
