The Case (Fallet) starring Lisa Henni (Easy Money) and Adam Godley (Breaking Bad) has been picked up by Israeli company Keshet International. 

The 8x30’ Swedish show (previously known as Sophie Borg) is produced by FLX (Welcome to Sweden, Bonus Family) in co-production with Film i Väst, SVT, DR and support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond.

Simen Alsvik (Lilyhammer) and Jon Holmberg (Swedish Dicks) are directing from an original idea by FLX writers/creators Erik Hultkvist, Tapio Leopold, Rikard Ulvshammar and Robin Muhr.

When a British man is murdered in a small Swedish town, Swedish police officer Sophie Borg with a misplaced high self-esteem and her British colleague Tom Brown, are assigned to solve a gruesome murder. Other main actors include Tomas von Brömssen, Björn Kjellman and Lisa Boysen.

The series will premiere on SVT1 on April 14 at 21.00. Keshet International is the sales division of Tel Aviv-based Keshet Media Group, producer of Prisoners of War, the original Israeli version of Homeland.

They will present The Case at MIPTV (April 3-7) in Cannes..
