The Finnish executive will be joining the Banijay Group Finnish label as producer of scripted series and films.

She will be starting her new job in August, joining Endemol Shine Finland from Aamu Film Company, where she has served as line producer on several high quality films including this year’s Cannes Critics Week entryThe Woodcutter Story, and last year’s Cannes Grand Prix winner Compartment No.6. She has also worked on the new YA series Zone-B commissioned by Yle, several documentaries and short films.

At Endemol Shine Finland, Eskandari will be working with Head of Scripted Max Malka. “Paria is well-known as a dedicated filmmaker who focuses on both the story and the people. She has a fantastic reputation within the film community, and her expertise will ensure we further grow our scripted slate and bring our know-how to the Finnish and international market. It’s going to be an absolute pleasure to work on several interesting new projects together,” said Malka.

Endemol Shine Finland is currently working on its first scripted series Dance Brothers, co-produced by Netflix and Yle which will premiere in 2023. The YA dance drama is being written by Malka with Reeta Ruotsalainen. Taito Kawata is directing.
