Both actors are nominated respectively for their leading roles in the Viaplay series The Dreamer-Becoming Karen Blixen and CMore/TV4 drama Riding in Darkness.

The two series were supported by Nordisk Film & TV Fond.

In The Dreamer-Becoming Karen Blixen, Danish star actress Connie Nielsen plays the iconic author of Out of Africa, not yet recognised for her craftsmanship, struggling to find her place in Danish society in the 1930s, after many years spent in East Africa. The series created by Dunja Gry Jensen for Zentropa had its world premiere at Canneseries 2022. Viaplay and TrustNordisk share sales.
