Blomgren who has produced more than 40 films and series over the last two decades, will remain in his current position until April 1st.

The former NENT Group (now Viaplay Group) senior executive Janca Hodann Söder had been serving since 2021 as managing director of Art & Bob Television, one of Art & Bob Group’s three production subsidiaries with Art & Bob Film & Drama and Art & Bob Post-Production. Since 2018, private investment group Co_Made Sthlm founded by Tom Persson (H&M founder's grandson), is part owner of Art & Bob.

Hodann Söder's promotion as CEO is part of the film and television group's overall reorganisation.

“During the nearly two years that I have been with the company, I know that there is enormous competence in all the fantastic employees. We currently have several exciting projects underway, which we will see already this autumn, and a very nice and strong drama slate, which spans smaller projects with strong and important subjects, to large premium productions in both series and film,“ said Hodann Söder, adding:

“I will continue to work with the ambition to build Art & Bob as the best production company and to create a workplace that is imbued with inclusion, creativity and joy, where people thrive, develop and feel good. I am convinced that it is the basis for building a team where the creative drive will generate stories that touch and engage the increasingly demanding market."

Blomgren who founded the company Bob Film in 2000 and merged it in 2015 with Art89 Television to set up Art & Bob, told us he will decide on his next move in the coming months, which might involve taking a more Nordic responsibility.

The senior executive has produced the acclaimed features The Wedding Photographer by Ulf Malmros, the Kristallen nominated comedy series Höök, (2006) and executive produced most recently the SVT feelgood series Dreaming of England from head-writer Lisa Ambjörn (Young Royals). He is also member of the board and Head of Film & Drama at The Swedish film and TV Producers Association.

Art & Bob has successfully produced several remakes for the Swedish market, including Syrror, remake of the Finnish hospital series Syke, Sommaren med släkten, remake of the Norwegian show Neste Sommer and Fullt hus, remake of the French-Canadian series Boomerang.
The company also produced for C More the historical documentary series The Queens (Drottningarna) about eight of Sweden’s most fascinating queens, narrated by Sofia Helin.

Current titles on Art & Bob’s slate include the youth series about manipulation, violence and friendship Gaslight, commissioned by SVT. The series written and directed by Therese Lundberg stars Julia Heveus (Partisan, The Restaurant) and Ivar Forsling (Young Royals). The psychological drama is due to premiere on SVT Play later this year.
