Pernille Rose Grønkjæ's The Monastery, produced by Tju-Bang Film with support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond, has been voted Best Danish Documentary of the year by the Danish Producers Association. The film was awarded the GuldDok 2007 on November 8 at the opening night ceremony of the CPH:DOX Documentary International Film Festival in Copenhagen.

Other GuldDok Awards included the Nordisk Film production Ghost of Cité Soleil by Asger Leth, winner of the Best Long Doc and Best Editor (Adam Nielsen), Christoffer Dreyer's The North Korean Friendship Society (En forening I modvind) produced by Cosmo Film, winner of the Best Debut Doc, Michael Christoffersen's Milosevic on Trial (Slobodan Milosevic - præsidentunder anklage) produced by Team Productions, winner of the Jury's Special Prize for Best Doc Production, and Kasper Torsting's Solo produced by Fridthjof Film, winner of the Best Children & Youth Doc.

During the CPH:DOX opening gala, the esteemed Danish documentary filmmaker Steen Møller Rasmussen was also awarded the Danish Film Institute's DKK 3,500 Roos Award 2007 from a jury which included Tue Steen Müller (former head of the European Documentary Network), Henning Camre, head of the European Think Tank on European Film and Film Policy, and Agnete Dorph Stjernfelt, DFI's chief of press and communications.
