After its seven wins at the Roberts awards, Henrik Ruben Genz's Terribly Happy produced by Fine & Mellow, won another six awards at Sunday night's Danish Film Critics Association Bodil awards. The film won Best Film, Best Actress (Lene Maria Christensen), Best Actor (Jakob Cedergren), Best Supporting Actor (Kim Bodnia), Best Photography (Jørgen Johansson). Terribly Happy's composer Kåre Bjerkø was also awarded for his work on What No One Knows and Little Soldier, and the director of photography Jørgen Johansson was awarded for both Flame & Citron and Terribly Happy.

Other awards went to Sarah Boberg (Best Supporting Actress in Worlds Apart), Anders Østergaard (Best Documentary Film with Burma VJ-reporter from a Closed Country). In a surprising move, the Danish film critics gave the Bodil for Best Foreign Film (non US) to Sweden's Let the Right One In by Tomas Alfredson.
Paul Thomas Anderson's There will be Blood was named Best US Film and Jørgen Leth was handed out an Honorary Award. All Nordic film winners were supported by Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
