Ghita Nørby, Morten Grunwald, Vigga Bro, Paprika Steen, Pilou Asbæk and Jens Albinus have just starting filming yesterday Bille August’s new Danish film Stille Hjerte (‘Quiet Hearts’) produced by Jesper Morthorst for SF Film Production. Stille Hjerte is a family drama written by Christian Torpe, (TV series Rita and Park Road). Danish star actress Nørby who hadn’t played with August since the director’s 1992 Palme d’or winning film The Best Intentions, plays the title role as the sick matriarch Esther who has decided to die because of her illness. Her family gathers for a weekend to be at her side, but Esther’s decision becomes harder to handle as the weekend progresses. The drama was support by the Danish Film Institute and co-financed by TV2 and Filmfyn. The domestic release through SF is scheduled for September 2014.
