Top actors Søren Malling (pictured) and Stine Stengade have been added to the cast of the Danish crime series Dicte Season 3, set to start filming on October 19. In this new 10 episode series journalist Dicte Svendsen (Iben Hjejle) travels from Aarhus to Lebanon and Syria for her coverage of crime stories.
The third season is written by Dorte W. Høgh and Ida Maria Rydén and Kasper Gaardsøe (conceptual writer of DR series Lykke) is directing the first four episodes. Dicte is produced by Miso Film in co-operation with TV 2 Denmark, TV4, TV2 Norway & Den Vestdanske Filmpulje, in collaboration with YLE, RUV, LUMIÈRE in Benelux and FreemantleMedia International that handles world sales.
The series received support from the Danish Film Institute, Filmby Aarhus, the City of Aarhus, Central Jytland Region and the MEDIA Programme.
The two first seasons of Dicte (aired in 2013 and 2014) had one of the biggest viewing and rating for TV2 Denmark in recent years.
