Nordisk Film Distribution is releasing this Friday in Norwegian cinemas Petter Næss's screen adaptation of Lars Saabye Christensen's novel Maskeblomstfamilien (Shameless). Set in the late 1950s, the film tells of a young boy who discovers he is an unwanted child and refuses to play the victim. Marie Bonnevie (photo) and Eindride Eidsvold play the parents and upcoming talent Marcus Aarseth the young Adrian Wang. The film produced by Maipo Film was supported, among others, by Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
