The full list of cast and crew for Norway's mega project Max Manus was announced during a press conference in Oslo on February 6.
Alongside Aksel Hennie, cast for the role of the historical hero Max Manus, are Nicolai Cleve Broch, Pål Sverre Valheim, Kyrre Haugen Sydness, Knut Joner, Petter Næss and Viktoria Winge.
The biggest Norwegian film in 20 years with a NOK50m budget will start shooting on February 19 with filmmaking duo Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg behind the camera. The film's DoP is Geir Hartly Andreassen, recent winner of a Swedish Guldbagge for Darling. The film is produced by Filmkameratene with support from the Norwegian Film Fund, Nordisk Film & TV Fond and Eurimages. The premiere in Norway is set for December 19, 2008 through Nordisk Film Distribution.
