Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman (pictured) who plays the lead in the US TV drama The Killing, alongside Mireille Enos (aka inspector Sarah Linden) will return to US homes for a third season scheduled to air on the US cable network AMC as a two-hour special on June 2, 2013. Based on the Danish hit series Forbrydelsen, The Killing-Season 3 will introduce new cast members Peter Sarsgaard, Elias Koteas and Amy Seimetz. Veena Sud, creator of the 12 episode crime thriller is executive producing for Fox Television Studios alongside Hollywood based Dane Mikkel Bondesen from Fabrik Entertainment (former Fuse Entertainment). The show will be available on Netflix three months after the airing of its final episode on AMC.

Kinnaman who became a sought-after actor in the US after his title role as JW in Daniel Espinosa's Easy Money, has just finished shooting the third film in the Stockholm noir trilogy, directed by Jens Jonsson. Kinnaman will then re-team with Espinosa on the director's second English language project Child 44 produced by Ridley Scott.
