The experienced scriptwriter Kim Leona (photo), who has worked as Fiction and Documentary commissioning editor at the Danish Film Institute's News Danish Screen for the last three years, has been appointed Feature Film Commissioner for the DFI. She will take over from Molly Malene Stengaard on November 1. A former graduate of Denmark's National Film School, Leona co-wrote the scripts for Per Fly's societal trilogy The Bench, Inheritance and Manslaughter as well as Morten Giese's Love & Rage (2009).
