Ruben Östlund's vignette movie Involuntary won Best Screenplay (co-written by Östlund [photo right] and Erik Hemmendorff [photo left]) and the Star! Audience Award at the Stockholm International Film Festival's closing ceremony on Saturday.

The jury said: "The award for Best Screenplay goes to a film that employs subtle humor and realism to highlight everyday choices that could lead to catastrophic consequences. It shows that how we deal with awkward, no-win situations may define us as human beings." The film produced by Plattform with support from Nordisk Film & TV Fond is on Swedish screens since last Friday.

Stockholm's top Bronze Horse award went to the US film Frozen River by Courtney Hunt. Stockholm's 1km Film 2008 scolarship award given out to a promising Swedish filmmaker, was presented to Come Here by Alexandra Dahlström, one of the two young actresses in Lukas Moodysson's Show Me Love. Some 125,000 visitors attended the 19th Stockholm Film Festival.
