The Danish documentary film Into Eternity directed by Michael Madsen (photo) was awarded the Nordic Documentary Award and its NOK50,000 cash prize from TV2 Norway at the Nordisk Panorama in Bergen that ended on September 29. The film produced by Magic Hour Films had already received the Grand Prix at Nyons, Visions du Réel 2010. An Honorary Mention was given out to the Swedish documentary Regretters by Marcus Lindeen and to Portrait of a Man by Finland's Visa Koiso-Kanttila. Sweden's Joanna Rubin Dranger received the Best Nordic Short Film Award and NOK50,000 from NRK for Miss Remarkable & Her Career. In the New Nordic Voices competition, Finland's Mari-Kaisu Mononen was handed out the top award for My Heart, My Bad, and Denmark's Henrik Malmgren received a Special Mention for The Guest. Into Eternity, Regretters and Miss Remarkable & Her Career were all supported by Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
