The Danish horror thriller What We Become (Sorgenfri) by debut director Bo Mikkelsen (pictured) has been picked up by Paris-based Indie Sales for world sales, ahead of the American Film Market in Los Angeles.
The story centres on the Johansson family of four who is quarantined in their home as a virus spreads into town. They are forced to the extreme to escape alive. In the main roles are Borgen actors Mikael Birkkjær and Mille Dinesen as well Troels Lyby (The Idiots) and rising star actress Marie Boda (Lea). Sara Namer is producing for Meta Film and Meta Louise Foldager acts as executive producer with Louis Tisne. The film in post-production will be released by SF Film in the autumn 2015.
