The two first episodes of the Swedish sci-fi drama series Real Humansthat premiered on the French/German channel Arte on April 4 had the best audience for a Thursday prime time slot on Arte France since the beginning of the year, with a share of 5.4% and 1,350,000 viewers. The series produced by Matador for SVT with support from Nordisk Film& TV Fond. Stefan Baron, SVT Drama's Commissioning Editor Sports/Co-production Executive said: "SVT and Matador Film are of course thrilled by this start and impressed by the effort Arte has put into the promotion of the series. Arte was one of the first broadcasters that showed interest in Real Humans in its early stages of development. It is also very fascinating to hear the characters speak French and from what I can judge it was very well dubbed." Season 2 is well under way and will premiere on SVT at the end of 2013. Lars Lundström is the main writer and Harald Hamrell is directing episodes 1-4 and 9-10.
