Copenhagen-based European Film Bonds (EFB) headed by Per Neumann has hired Universal Pictures’ former Vice-President of International Production Peter La Terriere (pictured) to expand the company’s presence in the English-language market. Other staff members hired for EFB’s London office include Legal Executive Johan Ewing and Production Executive Sudie Smyth. EFB was established in 2009 by veteran Scandinavian lawyer Per Neumann to provide tailor-made completion guarantees to film and TV producers, investors, distributors, TV companies and film bodies. The company’s bonds are underwritten by the German Film Insurance Pool. Board members include Berlinale director Dieter Kosslick, producer Vibeke Windeløv and entertainment lawyer, Andreas Pense. EFB’s credits include The Royal Affair, Kon-Tiki, Pioneer, Beyond and Iron Sky.
